PRIEST, a post-apocalyptic sci fi thriller, is set in an alternate world — one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest (Paul Bettany) from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece (Lily Collins) is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on an obsessive quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend (Cam Gigandet), a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess (Maggie Q) who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.

Merlotte’s Bar-N-Grill Halloween Masquerade!

Here is some more info on the Merlotte’s Bar-N-Grill Halloween Masquerade that will be taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada USA at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino from October 29, 2010 (arrivials) to November 1, 2010 (Departures) -

If you are interested in going and looking for an affordable package (both plane fare and hotel reservations) that is under $500, check either Cheap Tickets.COM or Expedia.COM in which you can get both plane fare and hotel reservation between $400 and $500 from within the USA and I assume is more than that internationally.

Also, we will be holding two costume contests on Halloween night the night of the big Halloween Masquerade -

1. “True Blood Character Look-A-Like”
2. “Create Your Own True Blood Character”

Also, there will be a few raffles in which everyone will win a little something – so everyone leaves with a little something at the end of the night.

This event is also an ADULT EVENT (18+) and in order to get any alcoholic beverage, you must be 21 years old or older.

We will also be holding a Season One & Season Two viewing party in the day time on the day before Halloween (aka Saturday)

Also, on Saturday night we will be celebrating those True Blood related fan sites who have been online for a year or more as well as a very special birthday celebration for one of the event coordinators (more info coming soon).

Tickets per individual attending this event is $50 US Dollars which will hold their spot at the event. They can purchase tickets up until October 1, 2010

And fans can purchase tickets at the door on Halloween night for the event for $75 per individual who wants to attend and doors will be closing at 8PM which is when all the contests, raffles, give-aways, and other fun activities will be starting and the event will end at 1 AM on November 1st.

This is a brief glimpse of what is to come at the Merlotte’s Bar-N-Grill Halloween Masquerade in Las Vegas, Nevada @ the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino during the weekend of Halloween (10/29 to 11/1)!!!

Stephen Moyer Online is now hosting a contest and give-away for the “MISSING BILL COMPTON” campaign. As a way to celebrate the premiere of Season Three of True Blood which airs on Sunday, June 13th, 2010 on the HBO Network and also as a way to celebrate the re-opening of our fan site for British Actor Stephen Moyer – we are holding these two contests.

Stephen Moyer Online is now hosting two contests and give-aways as a way to
celebrate our re-opening as well as the premiere of True Blood Season Three which is due to premiere on HBO Network on JUNE 13TH, 2010.

Now there are two sides to this contest and give-away which is why we are calling it (2) CONTESTS & GIVE-AWAYS -

“MISSING VAMPIRE” POSTER CONTEST: The objective of this contest is for those who are talented fan artists to create a poster that displays our most loved missing Bon Temps vamp Bill Compton who was mysteriously abducted at the end of last season when he proposed to his long time mortal girlfriend Sookie Stackhouse. Now here is what we are looking for in all submissions:

1. Originality: You must create something that is one of a kind – in other words “Your Own Work Of Art”
2. Poster Size: Your creation must be 800×600 pixels in size dimensions
3. Creativity: You can use any form of art medium (i.e. digital art, sketch, paint, photography, etc) to create your “MISSING VAMPIRE” poster and it must feature a photo of Bill Compton with a very catchy slogan or phrase stating Bill Compton is MISSING and if found please contact your local American Vampire League (or) Sookie Stackhouse. The slogan must be one of a kind as well as creative.

“What Has Happened To Bill Compton?!” Fan Fiction Story Contest: The objective of this contest is for those who are talented fan fiction writers to create their own scenerio on what they think happened to Bill at the end of season two when he went Missing In Action just as he proposed to to his long time mortal girlfriend Sookie Stackhouse. And here is what we are looking for in these fan fiction stories:

1. Originality: You must create your own storyline and plot, since this is a fan fiction story contest – you can base it on the True Blood – Season Two storylines but you must remember to respect Charlaine Harris, Alan Ball, and also HBO Network since in truth they are technically True Blood’s Copyright Rights Owners. So, remember to show some respect in that area.
2. Creativity: You can get as creative as you like with your storylines and plots. I just ask that if it is a story meant for MATURE AUDIENCES – you put some kind of warning at the very beginning to warn readers of it’s mature content.
3. Length: The length of the story must be at a reasonable length – I would say short but sweet but we all know any story that is that short and sweet may lack a good quality plot and storyline. So, make it a reasonable length.
