From ABC.com:
Hi everyone.
We wanted to share some of the exciting things we have planned at Comic Con for ABC’s new action drama, “No Ordinary Family,” which takes place on SATURDAY, JULY 24. In the series, the Powells are about to go from ordinary to extraordinary. After 16 years of marriage, Jim (Michael Chiklis, “The Shield,” “Fantastic Four”) feels disconnected from his workaholic wife Stephanie (Julie Benz, “Dexter”) and two teenage children, Daphne (Kay Panabaker,Ā Summerland”) and JJ (Jimmy Bennett, “Star Trek”). To encourage family bonding time, Jim decides the family will join Stephanie on her business trip to South America. When their plane crashes into the Amazon River, they barely enjoy a moment to celebrate their survival before returning to the grind of everyday life. But they will soon realize that their lives have been forever changed. Each member of the family starts to show signs of new, unique and
distinct super powers. Will their newfound abilities finally bring them together or push them further apart?
SATURDAY, JULY 24
At 1:00pm, Michael Chiklis and Julie Benz will be available in the “No Ordinary Family” booth – #3921 – and will be autographing full sized posters from the show. Also at the booth throughout the day, visitors can come through and lift a full sized car with their super human strength, have their picture taken and walk away with a photo of their extraordinary moment. Additionally, “No Ordinary Family” backpacks will be available at the booth for a limited time, so hurry on by!
And if you’re hungry, walk over to the Cine CafĆ© at 412 K Street and get your “No Ordinary Hero” sandwich. The first 100 people who come to our booth with their “No Ordinary Hero” wrapper will receive a free tee shirt!
Throughout the day – and without notice – we’ll also be giving out “No Ordinary Family” tees to the crowds, so be on the lookout for this, as well.
At 3:15pm we will be screening the pilot episode of the show in Room 6A. Following the screening there will be a brief Q&A session with the series stars Michael Chiklis , Julie Benz, series executive producers Greg Berlanti (The Green Lantern, Eli Stone), Jon Harmon Feldman (Reunion, Tru Calling), and David Semel (Heroes, House M.D.). Those who attend the panel will receive an exclusive tee-shirt that is not available anywhere else at Comic Con – see attached!

Zachary Levi

Louisiana has given the world a number of memorable things ā good food, great music, Mardi Gras and Zach Levi. Who is that? You knowā¦
Chuck.
Unless you live in a hole or take up residence beneath large rocks, youāve seen or heard of Zach Levi and his television alter ego. On the small screen since 2007, “Chuck” was recently renewed for a third season thanks to the devotion of herds of nerds who went on a sandwich-buying rampage when it was rumored the show would be canceled.
A big part of the appeal of the show is Zach Levi. A great actor with fantastic comedic timing, Zach is the title character of the hit series. Heās the boy next door, the reluctant hero, the fiercely loyal guy you want as your friend, the computer geek you call when the blue screen of death appears on your monitor. As it turns out his personality in real life isn’t much different.
A friend (Mo) recently attended Comic-Con in San Diego and snapped a few choice pics of Mr. Levi. I have to admit that I didnāt recognize him. Tall, tanned, bearded and with curls that beg for fingers he looked more like a model than Chuck. No wonder heās one of EW.comās Top 25 Hotties. The man could melt butter with a look.
Look for him in the November issue of RELEVANT magazine and listen for him in the upcoming Alvin and the Chipmunks sequel. You know you want to. Donāt make me chase you with a foot long sub sandwich and deploy some “Chuck-fu”.
Chuck returns to NBC in March of 2010. Yes I know, that’s forever away!

Matthew Morrison

When watching the film Hairspray (the 2007 musical based on the 2002 Broadway musical that was based on the 1988 cult film by John Waters ā still with me?) for the first time last night I understood a little better the fuss that many a young girl (and older girlsā¦.and well some men ā you know who you are) have made over Zac Efron. Iām sure when that movie hit the theaters there was plenty of swooning and many thoughts that no one could possibly do better by the role of dreamy heartthrob Link Larkin. Well Iām here to tell you that that just isnāt so. Or in other wordsā¦.hello Matthew Morrison!
For fans of Broadway Matthew (who has been known to respond to the nickname Matty Fresh) needs no introduction. He won his first small Broadway role in a production of Footloose at the age of 19 and then sub sequentially went on to originate the role of Link Larkin (dreamy heartthrob ā see above) and of Fabrizio Naccarelli in The Light in the Piazza (for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award and a Tony).
Thatās not to say that there hasnāt been any film or TV work yet. There have been guest starring roles here and there in āLaw & Order: Criminal Intentā, āGhost Whispererā, āNumb3rsā. And sure some roles in movies like Dan in Real Life and Music and Lyrics. But what he really needs is a break out role. Something that is really going to get the attention of the masses and really make him a household name.
Which brings me to a little show that you may have heard of called āGleeā. And if you havenāt heard of it do yourself a favor and go straight to hulu.com to watch the already posted pilot and every single one of the clips they have posted. You will not regret it.
I fully expect āGleeā to be the big break that Matthew Morrison deserves. I recently read an article about his role in āGleeā and it started off by declaring that his on-set nickname is āTriple Threatā and believe me he more than lives up to it. I may have only seen the pilot (well and every single clip that I can get my hands on, which thanks to Foxās push for the show has been quite a lot actually) but I really cannot sing his praises enough.
I donāt know what the future will hold for Matthew now that they have finished filming the first order of āGleeā (more āGleeā, more āGleeā, more āGleeā!) but mark my words this manās star is going to shine bright and high for many years to come.

Daniel Henney

Daniel Henney is an enigma wrapped in a conundrum wrapped in an Armani suit. (Props to the writers of The Simpsonās for that!) From the American Midwest, Henney made a huge splash as a model and actor in Korea. I mean they go nuts for him over there. So how is it I didnāt know of this man existence until he shot his way into my heart in X-Men Origins: Wolverine earlier this summer? A secret this good-looking should never be kept under wraps. It needs to be shared with the world! Read more
